The new M5 MacBook Air pre-orders are live and we uncovered some deals for folks looking to make the upgrade. But the question remains, is the M5 boost worth the spending close to $200 more if you don’t have something substantial to trade-in? Amazon is clearing out select M4 models, and even with the storage boost on the new M5, you can still land the M4 for $200 less than right now. 

Alongside offering the best deals on pre-orders for the new MacBook Neo, M5 MacBook Air, and M5 Pro MacBook Pro, Best Buy is also getting particularly aggressive with the brand new M4-equipped iPad Air lineup Apple just unveiled. While pre-orders listings for the new iPad are live at Amazon, Best Buy has now slashed the price on the new M4 model with deals starting down at $559 shipped for everyone (you do not need to be a Plus or Total member). 

Update 3/9: While last weekend’s Apple Shopping Event is long gone now, Amazon does have the Midnight AirPods Max back in-stock at $119 off.

Amazon is still offering a solid 35% price drop on AirPods 4 with ANC, but you’ll now find AirPods Max at nearly $120 off the list price.

Amazon has now replenished much of its cellular M3 iPad Air stock and, as of this morning, is now offering solid $150 price drops across several configurations. Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max have long been out in the wild now, but if you’re looking to land a high-capacity unlocked iPhone in the early parts of 2026 the latest models are going to cost you. The 1TB iPhone 17 Pro Max, for example, carries a $1,599 list price and the 1TB iPhone 16 Pro Max sells for $1,269 in the official Apple Refurbished Store, but Amazon will sell you a 1TB 16 Pro Max for $949 shipped right now – that’s $650 off the original list price.
