It is Mario’s 40th anniversary this year and we have already detailed all of the new releases Nintendo is set to drop in celebration – there’s even a Talking Flower collectible from Super Mario Bros. Wonder. But Nintendo isn’t done yet, as it just announced that Mario will be soaring the skies through the streets of NYC this Thanksgiving in the Macy’s Day Parade. 

The worst kept secret in Switch 2 ports is now official. After the better part of a year’s worth of leaks, rumors, and hints straight from Ubisoft, an official trailer for Assassin’s Creed Shadows on Switch 2 just hit the official Nintendo YouTube channel. 

Nintendo Direct goes live again this morning, and it’s all about the new Kirby Air Riders. As was officially announced earlier this week, Nintendo will livestream its next Direct presentation very soon on its official channels to give us another particularly lengthy look at the new Kirby racing title. 

Let’s take an updated look at all of the games confirmed for the Switch 2 GameCube library. Nintendo debuted the Nintendo Classics GameCube collection the same day Switch 2 launched this past summer with three titles and has steadily been updating it alongside the rest of the Switch Online retro libraries. 

Just as we previously predicted (and hoped for) Nintendo has now officially announced that Luigi’s Mansion is the next game coming to the GameCube Nintendo Classics library for Switch 2. We knew it was coming at some point, and what better time than Halloween? 

Nomad is debuting one of its most exciting new products of the year today, if you ask me. The new Stratos hybrid Apple Watch band combines its wonderful titanium link-style bracelet with a rubberized interior for extra comfort and a sort of ready for anything design approach. After testing it out myself for a few days now, the new Nomad Stratos has become a clear contender for the best new Apple Watch band of the year already. 

After giving us a complete detailed look at the new Kirby Air Riders, including the November 11, 2025 release date, Nintendo has just taken to the official Nintendo Today! App and X to announce the details on the next Direct – another dedicated Kirby Air Riders show ahead of launch. 

Ahead of the official Switch 2 launch, rumors suggested we could be seeing some official dual-screen action on Nintendo’s new console by way of a secondary USB-C port. We already know there are some not so perfect workarounds for using  second display on Switch 2, even your iPad, but the real question is, and has been for some time, when is Nintendo bringing DS to Nintendo Classics and how is it going to deal with the second display setup on those games? A new patent suggests something might already be on the works. 

There’s not very many travel-ready charger docks for Switch 2 out there, but this new JSAUX option is ready to connect you to the big screen anywhere. Yes, you can just lug around the sizable Switch 2 dock to make it happen anyway, but that’s not exactly the most compact or convenient way to make it happen – the new OmniCentro Charger Dock for Switch 2 is about the size of an average wall charger and you can score an early pre-order deal on it at $39.99 right now. 

While the new 2025 edition Anker Prime gear has arrived – you can still score some 20% discounts on it right now – the Monkey King is here. Anker’s wild-looking Wukong special editions are indeed coming stateside starting today. 

Update 10/14: The Assassin’s Creed Shadows Switch 2 release date has now leaked courtesy of a particularly reliable source – the game is expected to launch in Europe on December 5 – that likely means it will be right around then in the U.S. as well, if this date is indeed the real thing. This source also claims an official announcement will hit on or before November 7. 

Assassin’s Creed is in the news again to start the week, and this time it’s not for the somewhat controversial new Mirage Valley of Memory expansion – the Switch 2 version of Assassin’s Creed Shadows has leaked again. And this time we get a look at the box art.

Alongside the new Kindle Colorsoft, Ring gear, Blink cams, and more, the headliner reveal of today’s show is the long-awaited next-generation Echo smart speakers and Echo Show smart displays. 

As part of today’s live event in NYC, the all-new Kindle Scribe Colorsoft has been revealed. This new reader-meets-tablet takes on all of the stylus action of the existing Kindle Scribe, but as the name suggests also delivers a full color screen like that of the existing Kindle Colorsoft. There’s some other new models too.

Today could be a big day for the Amazon Devices team as it is set to take the stage in NYC to reveal what appears to be the next-generation of Echo devices (likely some Kindle and Fire TV action too). While much of its current lineup of Echo smart speakers and devices, as well as some Kindles and the Fire TV Sticks are already seeing as much as 50% price drops as part of the early Prime Big Deals Days sale, the next-generation models appear to be on the horizon, and we will know all about them this morning. 

The new Apple Watch Series 11 and Apple Watch Ultra 3 are now up for pre-order and will soon begin shipping. While the connectors are the same as last year’s models, if you’re looking to refresh your band wardrobe Apple has a series of new colors now live for its Alpine, Trail, and Ocean designs, as well as the Sport models. And we have also put together a list of some of our favorite third-party straps to elevate your Apple Watch experience – even if you aren’t buying a new watch this year, a fresh new band does wonders to reinvigorate the look and feel of the model you already have if you ask me. Update: The new Virtual Boy hardware is now available for purchase directly from Nintendo for Switch Online members. “This product can be purchased by those who have a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership. To play games in the Virtual Boy – Nintendo Classics, you will need an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership. The Nintendo Switch Lite is not compatible.”

During today’s lengthy Nintendo Direct, we did not get any updates on the Switch Online GameCube library, but Nintendo did officially announce Virtual Boy! It is ready to add an entirely new console to its Nintendo Classics collection in the form of the ultra-retro Virtual Boy library alongside an actual Virtual Boy peripheral you stick your Switch or Switch 2 inside of. Details below.

The My Nintendo Store Switch 2 pre-order invites have gone out and that means the first chance to score one of the new wireless GameCube controllers has too, but the actual Switch Online GameCube library won’t launch until June 5 when the Switch 2 does. Nintendo announced that it would be bringing GameCube to its classics library for Switch Online + Expansion Pack members alongside the Switch 2, but there are a few things you need to know about it and we’ll have a look at all of the games we know are coming to the service thus far down below.
