Switch 2 with one ‘FREE’ top-tier game might be the best Nintendo deal we will see all year

A video game console and a box

Remember the days when we used to get some seriously great deals on gaming consoles for holiday events and Black Friday? No? Well, I’m old enough to remember those days, and realistic enough to know they are long gone, at least for now. And that’s why you might want to take Nintendo’s new Switch 2 Choose Your Game bundle offer more seriously.

Now live: New Nintendo Switch 2 bundle with included game might be the best deal we see all year

A video game box and a video game console

While we are still featuring loads of notable deals on Switch and Switch 2 games below, the new Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle is taking over today’s games roundup. Considering the imminent price hike inbound on Switch 2 consoles, and how unlikely it is going to be to see deals on Nintendo’s latest console this year, we wanted to make sure the Choose Your Game Bundle was front and center.

You’re getting a Switch 2 and one of three games – Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, or Pokémon Pokopia – at $499.99 shipped. As of right now that’s $20 or $30 off depending on which game you choose, but once the price goes up on Switch 2 in a few months, this will actually be as much as $80 off. If you’re going to buy a new Switch 2 this year, this limited time bundle might be your best option.

Update: The new Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle is also now available at GameStop

Still live: Score Star Fox Switch 2 pre-orders at $10 off (Amazon ‘Pre-order Price Guarantee’)

A group of cartoon characters

Nintendo just announced an official price hike coming to Switch 2, that’s not good. Nintendo also just official unveiled the new StarFox game and pre-orders are already seeing a deal at Amazon and Walmart. This is good. The physical copy of the new N64 remake is actually carrying a $60 MSRP, and you can already secure a copy down at $49.99 courtesy of Walmart or Amazon:

This effectively just the same price as the digital copy’s $50 MSRP, but if you want a boxed edition this is likely going to be the best price we see ahead of launch in late June (the Amazon price guarantee will ensure you pay the lowest price it drops to between now and then anyway).

Head below for the rest of this week’s best Switch and Switch 2 game deals.
