Capcom has officially unveiled Resident Evil 9, or Resident Evil Requiem as it is officially known. Rumors surfaced all over the net the last week about what appeared to be an imminent upcoming reveal, and it is now officially here. Scope out the announcement trailer below.

Summer Game Fest 2025 is set to take the stage today for lengthy live stream directly from YouTube Theater in California. The fifth annual gaming showcase has quickly become one of, if not, the biggest event of the gaming calendar (save for the Switch 2 bonanza this year of course), and it is once again set to debut hours worth of game reveals, world premieres, updates, and much more. 

Before we all head off into the weekend to enjoy our time with Switch 2 (or wait anxiously for one to arrive), we are going to take a look at all of Friday’s best deals on Android games and apps. Alongside the sizable collection of Apple deals we are tracking today as part of the 3-day weekend sale, Amazon has now dropped the latest USB-C Magic Mouse back down to its $67.99 shipped low. Regularly $79, this nearly 15% is matching our previous mention for the lowest we can find. 

Now that Sony’s new XM6 AMC wireless headphones are out in the wild – easily one of the biggest over-ear headphone releases of the last year – it might be hard to look past them for a set of AirPods Max. That said, those looking to score a set of Apple’s latest coloways with the USB-C connectivity can do so with all models now down at $479.99 shipped as part of this weekend’s Apple sale. We also have some even lower open-box prices to scope out below as well. 

Today’s batch of App Store deals are landing on the heels of the Switch 2 release and this morning’s big-time Apple weekend sale. You’ll find AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods 4 back down at the lowest prices of the year alongside a new all-time low on iPad A16 at $150 off, and the return of Amazon lows on iPad mini 7 from $399, alongside everything else right here. As for the apps, highlights include titles like Out There: Ω Edition, Nerd Survivors, Doom and Destiny Advanced, and a chance to play the first mission of Hitman: Blood Money for FREE. We are now onto day 2 of the Switch 2 launch. We saw another short blast of console availability early this morning at Target (we will keep a close eye throughout the day for more), but we wanted to once again highlight all of the new Switch 2 releases that are still in stock (at the time of writing) as well as touch down to inform folks about a couple new eShop sales that went live over the last 12 hours or so: the Devolver Digital event from $2.50 loaded with some brilliant indies and the Monster Hunter eShop sale from $10. But now it’s on to the Switch 2 games  now available for purchase that released yesterday.

Switch 2 just released and we are already seeing a chance to save on the brand new official Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller. You’ll need to be a Costco member to score it, but you can now score the regularly $85 pro-grade gamepad Nintendo just released yesterday down at $74.99 shipped – this deal might not stick around for very long. We came away quite impressed after getting a chance to go hands-on yesterday – check out the video right here.

The M4 MacBook Air deals just keep on coming folks. After a roller coaster of a week in M4 MacBook Air deals, most of the entry-level 16GB models are now back at the $150 price drops from the nearly $199 off we saw for a few brief stints a couple days ago. But, the 15-inch 24GB Midnight M4 MacBook Air with the 512GB SSD just hit a new Amazon all-time low again at $1,419 shipped – that’s $180 off. 

Friday morning is starting off with a flood of notable Apple deals, some of which are being ushered in by the now live 3-day weekend Best Buy Apple sale. But here’s the thing, while these events can be quite notable, just about everything is already matched or Amazon or isn’t nearly as good a deal as we have seen elsewhere this week. Details below. 

The Google Father’s Day sale rolls on, alongside some of the deals we have featured for even less at Amazon and elsewhere, but this morning we are touching down to highlight the price drops on the latest Pixel Watch 3. You will find price drops across the lineup courtesy of Amazon with deals starting from $299.99, or as much as $70 in savings on the higher-end configs, but the Best Buy open-box deals with full warranties are even lower – now up to $130 off. 

The Apple deals are already flying this morning before we head into the weekend, and next up is the latest iPad mini 7 lineup. Alongside deals on AirPods Pro 2, AirPods 4, and iPad A16 (and much more right here), Amazon has once again brought back its all-time low pricing across Apple’s ultra-compact series 7 iPad mini lineup with deals starting from $399 shipped. 

While we are still tracking the most affordable 128GB iPad A16 configuration down at $299 shipped in all four colors, the upgraded 512GB model just hit its best price ever. Regularly $649, the silver top-of-the-line 11-inch iPad A16 just dropped to $499 shipped at Amazon from the regular $649 to deliver the lowest price we have tracked online yet. 

Update: As expected, Amazon has now price matched on the AirPods Pro 2 at $169.99 $169 shipped.

We are tracking solid price drops on Apple’s latest AirPods including the AirPods Pro 2 down at $169.99 shipped courtesy of Target – we expect Amazon to price match here any minute if it hasn’t already – as well as AirPods 4 starting from $99.99. While we have seen more than a few chances to score these same deals on both AirPods 4 and AirPods 4 with ANC over the last couple months, deals on Apple’s pro-grade buds have been slightly less frequent in 2025.
