If you are, for some reason, one of the only folks out there with a Switch 2 that doesn’t have a copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you might want to consider this deal. Nintendo just recently released the Switch 2 Edition alongside some additional content for the game, but the Switch 2 Edition will run you $65. That’s almost certainly worth it, but you could also scoop up the Switch 1 edition on sale for $44.99 Prime shipped at Woot and then grab the $6.99 upgrade pack from Nintendo to land the same package for $52. Chances are it’s going to be a long while before we see the proper Switch 2 edition down at a price like that. “Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition features enhanced resolution, mouse control support for faster and easier decorating, a megaphone for calling your animal residents that uses the system microphone, and more.”

Today Nintendo announced the official release date for the new Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park alongside a new trailer. You can check that out right here, but we are also tracking a deal on the original Switch 1 version of Super Mario Bros. Wonder down at $46.99 Prime shipped via Woot. Regularly $60, this is the lowest price around and Nintendo has officially confirmed “you’ll be able to access the new content by purchasing an upgrade pack” today as well. It has confirmed the $20 price tag on the upgrade, and that means, much like the other Switch 2 Edition releases of Switch 1 games, you’ll be able to land the discounted copy here today and purchase the upgrade pack for less.

While Amazon is still offering a nice little price drop on the wonderful Donkey Kong Bananza for Nintendo Switch 2 at $62.99 shipped, Best Buy’s Winter sale is now in full swing with some game deals of its own. You’ll find a series of PS5 and Xbox titles like Borderlands 4 down at $41.99 and Ninja Gaiden 4 at $39.99, both regularly $70, but there are also some notable Switch 2 games marked down as well.
