Apple isn’t the only company with AI-focused products in the works. According to a new report, SpaceX has an artificial intelligence hardware prototype that’s “slimmer than an iPhone” in development.

Update: Musk has denied the report, tweeting that it is “utterly false.”

When SpaceX isn’t landing rockets, it’s apparently landing AI company deals. In February, the firm behind Starlink absorbed xAI, which includes Twitter-turned-X. In April, SpaceX inked a deal with Cursor, a competitor to Claude Code and OpenAI’s Codex. As of August 14, the purchase has been completed. SpaceXAI, as it’s now called, also recently released Grok Bot and Grok 4.6 models with the help of Cursor.

T-Mobile has been testing a beta version of its T-Satellite service with customers for several weeks now. Starting next month, the beta period will start to wind down as satellite connectivity officially launches as a paid service. Beyond the commercial launch, T-Mobile has also announced when the service will expand beyond text message support to include data.
